Is your jewellery brand working? An 8-point self-check

Eight yes-or-no questions that show whether your jewellery brand is clear, consistent and trusted—plus what to fix first when the answer is no.

A brand is not the logo. It is whether a new customer understands you, can reach you easily and trusts what they find. Answer each question honestly—“partly” counts as no.

The five universal checks

  1. A new visitor can tell within five seconds what you offer and who it is for.
  1. Your name, contact details, hours and services match on your website, Google profile and social pages.
  1. Every enquiry—call, WhatsApp or form—has a named owner and gets a reply the same working day.
  1. You know how many enquiries became customers last month.
  1. You ask every customer for honest feedback the same way and reply to reviews.

Three checks specific to jewellery

  1. Hallmark/HUID and stone certification are explained on product pages and in store.
  1. Price breakdown (metal rate, making charges, stones, GST) is shown before purchase.
  1. Your collections have names and stories customers remember.

What to fix first

  • Mostly “no” on the first two: start with brand clarity. Develop a collection-led narrative and detail system.
  • “No” on enquiries and follow-up: fix the customer journey. Organise verified product information and buying guidance.
  • “No” on feedback and trust: start with information accuracy and a response process. Create a discreet, useful consultation brief.

Take the interactive version to get a score out of 100 and your weakest area. The score is calculated in your browser. A follow-up enquiry is separate and is sent only if you choose to submit it.

The next considered step

The detail makes the difference.
Let’s start there.

Tell us about the business, the gap and the work you need. Start with a useful brief—not a bigger package.
